Like a previous reviewer, Mend-A-Hose Hydraulics at Birstall saved my day by repairing the rubber hose on a power steering pressure pipe. My car is an old Saab and the rubber hose section on the power steering pressure pipe had a leak. With it being an old car I couldn't find a new or even salvage replacement in the time-frame required so I Googled hydraulic pipe companies. I found a few but the previous reviewer swung it for me. Barry at Mend-A-Hose put a new rubber hose on the pressure pipe, joining it to the metal pipes that attach to either end of the hose; he did the work while I waited and it only took 20 minutes; the price was just shy of £30. I would highly recommend them for similar work.

Incredible service at the Birstall branch. I didn't get the guys name but he helped me out big time on Saturday morning, using my old unions to repair my power steering pipe keeping the car on the road. Did it all whilst I waited, even offered me a can of coke from the fridge. Great service, really helpful and friendly guy. Thanks again.
