I have worked for coastal carers for just over 3 years and i love my job!! The clients are fantastic and never fail to cheer me up. The support i have recieved over the last 3 years from Sheena and Rachel has been amazing, they both have hearts of gold and would do anything for anyone. They understand its difficult when i have a young family at home and have been nothing but supportive in my role to ensure i have good balance between work and home. I hope im still working for coastal carers for many years to come as i couldnt imagine working with a better team of people

I am Brand new to Coastal and after my first couple of weeks training and Shadowing Staff I have felt compelled to write a review. I can’t wait to be part of this fabulous team , Sheena and Rachel have been brilliant so far and so helpful with being able to give me the hours I need to fit into my life. The Clients I have been visiting have been delightful and have nothing but praise for the company , saying things like ‘You’ll love it here the staff are so lovely’ And ‘What a great team you are joining’ It says a lot for a Company when the clients are giving new staff such great feedback. I already know how much I am going to enjoy it at Coastal Carers .

I have worked in the care sector for many years for a couple of different companies, most recently I was employed by Coastal Carers for almost 4 years. Sadly I had to leave due to health issues and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, Sheena, Rachel, and the Coastal team were and still are like a family to me, always willing to help with Health or personal issues, never a problem to accommodate rota changes ( even at very short notice ) The genuine compassion and empathy of Sheena shines through in everything she does, The clients I visited on my calls were all extremely happy with the quality of care they received from Coastal Carers, I would even go so far as to say that in my experience this company goes above and beyond. I have felt so much support during my illness and now I have left the company still get the odd message from the office checking on my progress. I would highly recommend Coastal Carers as a place to work and a place to seek support and Care for your loved ones, keep up the fantastic work Coastal .

Not a review of the care because that is done by the employees. My partner worked here for a month and absolutely hated it. We are in the process of obtaining the final payslips for the final two weeks. It has been lockdown and as such, haven't been able to collect the payslips and they never had any intention of posting the cheques. Sheena Calvert must be one of the nastiest people I have ever come across. Spoke to my partner awfully through the entirety of her employment. To the point where she was petrified of going anywhere near the office. I have had to approach them and drop her provided equipment and documentation off. After lockdown, they have said they have destroyed her cheques because and I quote 'we don't just leave cheques lying around'. After asking for a timeframe, Sheena's reply was 'Jasmine has made us wait so she can wait'. It has been lockdown so we haven't been able to collect the cheques. Due to this, we are now in the process of going to a tribunal to receive her final cheques. Disgusting way to treat staff.

I would like to thank you Costal Carers for the care and support you gave our dad in the last 18 months of his life. You all worked so hard to keep his independence, allowing him to continue to live in his own home whilst still having some quality of life. It’s a very difficult responsibility for a family to instruct a care provider, because essentially we are inviting strangers into a vulnerable family members home. But as soon as we met and spoke with you we realised that you were care provider who would be the most suitable and caring for dad, and also work with us his family, and you didn’t disappoint. In what was the most heartbreaking and stressful 18 months for us as a family seeing Dad decline as he did and the issues that came with his decline, you were there to support him when he needed it, and supporting us his family. I can not thank you enough, and without hesitation I would recommend you to anyone in need. Thank you so much Costal Carers!

Coastal carers have looked after my mother in law for over 5 years. They offer a great service and Jean really love their visits and the weekly shopping trip they take her on takes mountains of pressure off her daughter's. I highly recommend them.
