I ordered flowers for my mums 70th we agreed £40 for something similar to “As Nature intended”. Completely understandable that it wouldn’t be identical, it was the wrong season for some of the flowers however, my heart dropped when I picked them up. I don’t think I counted 10 stems, some of which were carnations. Carnations are about as far away from the style of bouquet I wanted, again I completely understand I was never going to get an exact copy but something similar at least. Even more upsetting all the flowers were completely open so I doubt my mum will get a couple of days out of them. I completely understand that costs have gone up - especially for flowers but this was a total joke. I ended up driving to a supermarket and buying flowers to pack it out. I basically had to deconstruct the entire bouquet and start from scratch. To top it off the staff looked at me like I was from another planet when I walked in, I was never asked “ are you pleased” “do you like them”? Really disappointing for my bank balance and my mum.
