I live locally and went to top up electricity and gas on 22/04/2020 about 10:15pm. the shop keeper asked me to pay 50 pence extra for both gas and electricity . I told him that I have cash, he told me it does not make any difference as it is their own charges and no receipt will be given for this extra 50 pence. When I told him that OK I will pay by bank card then he refused to serve me saying that it is now their closing time. I went out and check their closing time which were 12:00 midnight. I came back in the shop and saw him serving two another customers. I remind him that you are closed for me and not for others. He told me leave my shop and walk atleast a mile away to get top up. I think it is completely abusive attitude and rip off the people with extra money because its a local shop. I have already noticed their prices very high that any other convenience store. I strongly advise the local people to check their prices before buy and make their complaints if they charge extra.
