He was able to match wood colours to our walls which was really useful to see and gave us a better idea of the end result. We bought our carpet at Floors for Thought at the end of 2020 for installation in 2021. Paul, Chris and Vania were amazing to help in the store, and got us a sample ordered quickly. Due to Brexit, they pro-actively shared they might not be able to deliver the carpet chosen for our original install date in January, and offered to upgrade us to a more expensive version at the same cost to assure delivery. They even drove - due to lockdown - to our house to show us the alternate carpet. Unfortunately, due to the same lockdown, we had to move our install date three times and every time they were understanding and appreciative. We finally got it installed this week and from the pre-install survey appointment by Simon (2x) to the actual installation & fitting, to the after care the next day, the process was absolutely stellar. We did a full renovation of our house in the past year and I wish every one of our suppliers had been as customer service oriented as Paul, Chris, Vania and Simon at Floors for Thought. Sadly we tried to use Floors for thought to replace our flooring in our ground floor and all of our stairs and corridors but found them extremely frustrating to deal with. Our initial impressions were good and we found some ideas we really liked. However, we had our follow up appointment cancelled 3 times, with no attempt to try and rebook the final appointment. We got in touch proactively as we wanted to get things moving and they said that we needed to rebook an appointment in the shop as they had lost all their records of us and we had to start from scratch. They cited being too busy as a reason for not offering anything more proactive or to try and make up for the frustration and over a month delay to our plans.
