  Was due to get herringbone flooring done from another company who had recently fitted carpets upstairs but wasn’t impressed with their service and excuses so decided to look around. After reading a number of reviews popped into the store feeling I already knew Matts level of service. It matched the reviews. Really professional and kept us informed throughout process. So much so that we went back to get bathroom flooring done. Mark the fitter did a great job fitting the herringbone flooring with lots of knucks in the rooms. Looks really professional and worked hard doing it. Totally recommend the company. Level of service and quality of fitting worth it.

  So thrilled with our stairs, landing and hallway supplied by Flooring Uk and fitted beautifully by their fitters Rich. Always does such a great job to a really high standard.   I have just had a new stairs and landing carpet fitted for my Mum, as I live abroad all the organizing had to be done over the phone. Matthew was fantastic he sent someone around to my Mums house with samples of what I thought she wanted, she picked her favorite 2 then Matthew called me back and also emailed me photos of what she had picked!!! He kept within the price range I wanted and also advised me which was the better option for the area we needed it. Rich came to fit it, all done in no time all clean and tidy fantastic job!!!! I will without a doubt be using flooring UK Birkenhead and recommending to friends

  Had a carpet fitted today,the fitters arrived he was very pleasant and helpful and done a fantastic Jon fitting the carpet. When ordering the carpet a couple.weeks ago the gentlemen serving us was very pleasant. I would recommend

  I felt compelled to edit this review in response to the reply received from Flooring UK. Firstly, I completed an online form on 29th July 2020 that included my contact details such as email address and phone number. I then received a phone call from a member of staff minutes later at precisely 1:58pm (I still have the phone records). We then arranged for a fitter to visit on 7th August to provide a quote. Nine days later on 7th August, nobody arrived and no communication was received. Frustrated at being continually let down by trade companies, I decided not to let this one pass, so I left a negative review. The following morning, the manager who was very apologetic contacted me via email and arranged to visit personally. When he provided me with a quote, I was reasonably pleased and agreed for them to proceed with the work. The manager said he would get in touch to make further arrangements. However, after he left I would receive no further contact or communication. I would then notice the reply to my negative review. The reply implied that their failure to make the initial appointment was my fault because I entered an "incorrect" phone number on the original contact form. Now, I am not able to verify if the phone number I provided on the form was "incorrect" but it seems strange that they were able to successfully phone me on 29th July without issue to arrange the appointment in the first place… Also, why did they not show up for the appointment in any case? As far as I was concerned it was fully agreed and arranged. Did they think it was appropriate to simply not show up for an appointment because my phone number was "incorrect"? They most certainly had my correct email address at hand… Also why did they not get in touch again after the manager's personal visit on 7th August? Did they expect me to chase them? The ironic thing is that I would have been more than happy to amend my review score were they able to provide a good service. But with the indignity of being ignored for a second time AND being practically blamed for their no-show I have decided that a one star review is perfectly justified.

  Great service & advice starting with Mat in store. Fitters Joe, Gary & Paul were efficient & professional. They have fitted a lovely new living room floor that we are very happy with. Will be using Flooring UK again & have already recommended them to a neighbour

  Cant praise Mathew enough. Straight from the onset he was professional, knowledgable and extremely honest about the flooring that would work in our victorian house. Initially, we were only getting the living room done but love it that much we are getting the hall done now too. The fitters, Garry and Jacko, were very quick and did an outstanding job . Highly recommend .

Bought laminate for all downstairs and carpet for upstairs, Joe and his fitters were so professional and advised us about our flooring before they could lay laminate , im thrilled with results , would highly recommend and will be using in a few months when kitchen is done , thanks again
