Lai, the owner is always welcoming, warm and supportive. You are not just supported in buying some or even the best ingredients, but also in trying new recipes: I went in to pick up a few groceries, but ended up with much more! I left with all the ingredients for Laksa noodle soup. I don’t really like soup, but because I enjoyed a Rendang recipe, Lai felt I would really enjoy it; so armed with all the ingredients and Lai’s instructions recorded on my phone I went off. Well Lai, as usual, was right! It was so tasty. I had never tasted Laksa, I certainly had never tasted fried tofu or enoki mushrooms all delicious, all purchased on blind faith! Thank you Lia
