Really annoyed after todays visit, eye test last month and inquired about contacts… Took the option of a ‘free trial’. A number of weeks on and after 2 cancelled appointments I was back today. I haven’t been fully convinced that contacts are for me, so I intended to start with purchasing 30 pairs of contacts without a subscription and see how I get on. On completion of my follow up I was charged £35 ‘aftercare’. It May seem obvious or normal - for those who are expecting this. However not once was I informed that part of the free trial was to pay £35 to confirm that the free trial contacts were ok for me. Please also consider that my intention of buying a one off month of 30 pairs of contacts for £36 have now cost £71… If I was informed of this compulsory charge at the end of the free trial then it would have swayed my decisions not to pursue the using contacts Wish I’d waited before spending 200 on glasses that I know I could have shopped around for less. Left a bitter taste it has

my overall experience was really good, they took care of my problem straight away, made me feel better mentally when i came out really helped me more than they know, only downside is not the shop or any members of staff but the fact of while i was sat down waiting, a young boy ad say 5”7 ish 15-18 yrs old came in and robbed some shades and ran off, they was currently 5 members of staff on front house talking to each other while that happened, i had to say excuse me 4 times before getting the women's attention to tell them that someone has just stolen some shades.
