Well what can I say - Chris at Flexdrive was my third driving instructor, after being messed around by 2 other local companies, and it was clear from the very start how different my experience was going to be, as I learned more in 1 lesson with Chris than I had in the year previous to that! It took a whole year for me to gain enough confidence and the skills needed to sit my test, as Chris does not believe in putting anyone forward for their test who isn't ready. I am disabled which gave me a few restrictions when learning to drive, but Chris was extremely helpful, and we found ways to adapt what I needed to do to help me. This really worked for me as I was a very anxious learner, but Chris was more than patient with me, and went above and beyond to get me to my final test date after rearranging it a couple of times. Right up to the morning of the test I was adamant I wasn't going to pass, and I think I probably shocked Chris as well when I passed first time with only 3 driving faults! I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without him, and there are not enough words to explain how grateful I am. I am now looking forward to gaining further driving experience with him whilst I find my first car! Thank you Chris and Flexdrive - you really have changed my life.

I first met Chris Howard from Flexdrive at the end of 2021 when I was looking for a trainer to teach me to become an ADI approved driving instructor. After much research and having read great things about Chris and his business we met for an initial assessment. I think it was fair to say that it was important to us both that we felt at ease with each other. Chris has an extremely thorough and robust training plan in place which he is happy to adjust to fit in with my learning objectives. I am please to say I have passed both my Part 1 & Part 2 tests at the first attempt and I am now working towards taking my final Part 3 test. I have no hesitation in recommending Chris & Flexdrive

Found them online - 5 stars from Google reviews. Used the contact page after reading all the wonderful self promotion on their website that says they'll call you. Got a blunt email reply saying "we haven't got capacity to help you". Great. Thanks. If that's a 5 star service... Thanks for nothing guys.

Learning to drive with Chris was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had; there was never a lesson that I didn't look forward to. For the whole time I was learning Chris was very patient and encouraging, which at times, was just what I needed. Lessons were based on what I wanted to focus on week-week and extra help was always just a phone call or text away. I would like to say a very big thank you to Chris for being an excellent driving instructor, without whom I could not have passed my driving test first time. His one-on-one teaching skills are wonderful and are exactly what every learner driver needs. When every lesson starts with a smile and a handshake, you know that your instructor truly cares about making you feel as comfortable as possible. Chris really keeps your confidence high and is able to recognize what you as an individual need from each lesson, so time is never wasted. I now feel fully prepared to go out and drive on my own.

I started learning with Chris after a recommendation from a friend as he and his girlfriend and girlfriend's sister had all passed first time with him I decided that learning with Chris was definitely the right choice for me. Chris's laid back style of teaching is very effective as you really learn how to pick up things very quickly and he goes at the pace that you learn at. It took me a while to pick up a few things, but Chris gave me the confidence to stick with it and persevere and I passed my test first time with 6 minors!
