My daughter and I attend Dinky Dancers with Miss Toni and we love the session! The teacher is brilliant with little ones - so kind, energetic and clearly enjoys working with children and enthusing them about dance in an elementary form - it's a great way of getting everyone moving. I would definitely recommend the class to others.

Our 17 year old daughter joined Miss Fleur’s dance school 14 years ago as a shy 3 year old as a recommendation from a friend! Thanks to the nurturing, hard working professional ethos of Miss Fleur, Miss Toni and Miss Jess Daisy is now a fit, confident and competent dancer in Ballet and pointe, tap, modern and commercial jazz dancing in 5 classes each week. The teachers are positive strong female role models for the children resulting in a unique relationship with their teachers as the longest standing teachers in their lives. They see the children grow and develop in their skill, fitness and stamina encouraging them to work to their best ability which shows in consistent high exam grades. We have seen the school grow and develop in our time bringing many opportunities for the pupils. Alongside the amazing biannual dance shows ( which I thoroughly enjoy chaperoning for!) Daisy has been involved in the local panto, participated in Summer School, attended concerts with dance school, danced with choreographers and famous dancers and danced at the Grand Prix 2021 as a troupe of 1000 dancers. Wonderful memories to treasure. Daisy has made a wonderful group of lifelong friends. She loves attending dance class whilst maintaining high levels of fitness. During the challenging times of lockdown Miss Fleur quickly devised virtual dance classes. This undoubtedly supported mental health and well being for Daisy and her friends during unprecedented times and enabled the important friendships within class to continue with dedicated ‘free time ‘ within each session including quizzes and socials! Daisy younger cousins joined the school when they were old enough having watched their cousins love of dance class and through admiring all the fantastic costumes she wore and kept from the dance shows! I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this dance school to any parent looking for a professional, fun inclusive dance school for their child but watching the Senior girls skills and enjoyment of being part of this wonderful ‘ dance family’ is the best advert for Miss Fleur and her staff. Both of my daughters have attended FEAD classes from seventeen months old. We are three and a half years in and both girls look forward to their classes each week. All of the dance teachers and staff are kind and approachable and have developed a lovely relationship with my children. I would highly recommend FEAD as a nurturing, professional and forward-thinking dance school.

Both my girls have been attending the dance school for many years, they have taken part in dinky dancers which is a fabulous class for mummy’s / daddy’s / guardians and children and teaches lots of fundamental skills which are easily transferable to other sports. The class brings lots of smiles and memories and heaps of fun for all. The girls now take, Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical theatre with Miss Fleur and the team. They both love every class and always leave smiling having had lots of fun and are always eager to show me what they have been doing. The girls are challenged and engaged and I believe learn more than just dance / musical theatre when with the team. My 2 always ask to take part in the amazing dance camps which run during the holidays and love every second making memory’s and new friends. As a parent I know my children are in very safe hands and their well-being is always the schools top priority. Miss Fleur and the team always go out of their way to help the children and ensure there not only learning dance but also spend time focusing on ensuring their pupils mental well-being is looked after as well as knowing them as individuals. Communication is fantastic, we are always fully informed and the school is run very well. Photos / videos are shared with consent and staff are very friendly. The shows the team put on are amazing and every effort is made to ensure a high class production is put on whilst ensuring the children are not over worked, exhausted or board by the time the show comes around. Children are well looked after during the show and again the backstage organisation is incredibly professional. During the lockdowns the school kept us informed every step of the way and quickly moved their lessons online. They engaged the children really well and adapted their sessions to ensure the children maintained some normality in their life’s. The team also encouraged the children to learn how to use the zoom features which was building on their IT skills required for the world we currently live in. My daughter has had such a positive experience attending the Fleur Elizabeth Academy. From the start, we were impressed with the commitment to high standards and professionalism. The quality of the production in our daughter’s first dance show blew us away and really allowed us to see the excellence that the students and teachers strive for. The teachers are also passionate about the students’ well-being and make the dance classes enjoyable and fun. There is a fantastic choice of classes available, including a boys class, acrobatics and musical theatre. I would absolutely recommend to anyone considering dance classes for their child.

At the age of 16, Jemima is a not only a beautiful dancer but she has gained unique life skills along with many very special friends. Each child is supported, encouraged and cared for on an individual basis. The Academy is very professional and consistently works to a very high standard.

I can’t speak highly enough of FEAD. My daughter has been a member of the academy family for the past 7 years. During that time I’ve watched her go from taking her first tentative steps in ballet shoes to being a confident 15 year old dancing in pointe shoes. At Miss Fleur’s she has had so many amazing and sometimes challenging experiences...dance exams, incredible dance shows, Summer school, dancing in pantomime, introduced to guest dance teachers, parents open day classes and performing at the Grand Prix. She has also made some very precious friendships. None of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for Miss Fleur and her team of dedicated, professional teachers. They all genuinely care for each individual child and always go the extra mile to provide the best possible experience. At the heart of the academy is family. Everybody is made to feel welcome and valued. I am thrilled to have found Miss Fleur and her team for my daughter. Fleur Elizabeth academy has felt like a family, especially during covid times. It is very apparent that what ever they do, the children are at the heart of any decision and they genuinely care about their students. The quality of teaching is brilliant. My little girls confidence has grown since going to dance class and she looks forward to going, never moans. The classes give a mixture of different styles of dance such as ballet, tap and modern. It is a very inclusive dance school, where every student is treat the same and is not dependent on talent. In covid times, the school has constantly adapted to the varying restrictions, kept parents updated through good honest communication and have put in measures that has given me confidence that my daughter is safe going to dance class.

My daughter has been with the Academy for 7 years. During those 7 years she has made friends, worked towards exams, built confidence, performed in Academy shows, pantomime and at The Hull New Theatre. Miss Fleur and her team offer many classes. My daughter does ballet, tap, modern, acro and musical theatre. Each class is taught with professionalism by skilled members of Miss Fleur’s team or herself. The dedication and support shown to children and families during Covid, continuing classes via zoom and back in the studio has been structured conscientiously, safely and professionally. I highly recommend the Fleur Elizabeth Academy of Dance as a wonderful place for all children looking to learn, build and develop within dance, in a safe, professional and skilled environment.
