Rarely need the dr but when we do, it all happens at once. Have required care twice this week, for myself and my toddler. For me, they triaged me to the paramedic who then text me to come in. Appointment was on time, gave me advice on a long-standing side issue and was great with my child who I had to take with me. All with no IT system and writing notes on paper, amazing! Then, late Friday afternoon, toddler spiked a fever related to infection which is pretty stressful as a parent as that’s not going anywhere fun. Receptionist couldn’t have been kinder, checking if they could squeeze us in, in the final hour of the day. Text requesting pictures of infected area and then friendly follow up phone call from paramedic with prescription winging it’s way. Five star service! If this is where Hart Health is heading, they’re doing a great great job. Thank you so much

I'd like to share some insights and a disapointing experience with the receptionist. This practice has great doctors/consultants but the management is inefficient. I have a form of long GI Covid, which seems to persist. Its taking ages to get to the right department. I kindly requested the lady at the reception if I could book a 5 min call post consultation with my doctor to discuss an alternative treatement. She replied "let me see" followed with "there is no dates in the calender until end of May", while suggesting and I quote " you can always fill a form". The rudness in her voice speaks volumes. I recognise her voice from the first time when I suggested to book my first appointment and she said " why can't you go private" - I kept my calm that day. Imo, there is little or no willingness to help those in need. She acts almost like a gatekeeper when you're trying to talk to an executive. I mean I have no pleasure in leaving negative comments but I thought and hope that senior management reads all the written comments and decide to take action. Also we are asked to be kind and respectful to the staff (Which I wholeheartedly agree with) but doesn't it work both ways. Kindness costs nothing. Many people calling will be anxious enough already and so speaking to someone who is quite rude can just heighten their feelings.

MERGER OF SURGERY A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. I have had many bad experiences at this surgery but this is the last straw, I will be trying to register elsewhere. They have merged two practices and their system has been down for 3 days. They are so rude when all you want some help with illness.

Terrible. If I could give this Surgery Zero stars I would. The merger of Fleet Medical Centre and Branksomewood Surgery has been and continues to be a complete disaster. Patients were not informed and were unable to get repeat prescriptions. Some patients not even aware the Merger was happening. My elderly relative was unable to get a repeat prescription. They tried to contact via telephone and the lines were not working, eventually they got through to an automated number that was too quick to understand. This has caused stress and worry to my relative, who was already concerned about the Junior Doctors Strike. The timing of this merging coinciding with the Easter Weekend and the Doctors Strike was very badly planned. Having looked into this for my relative, I discovered one of the Doctors from the Surgery has posted updates on Facebook and asked the patients to “cut them some slack!” . Also stating is not their fault. When is this Surgery going to realise a large proportion of their patients do not have access to the Internet let alone FACEBOOK!! This was badly managed and communicated by the Surgery and it is unprofessional of the Doctor posting on social media to absolve themselves of all responsibility and put all the blame NHS Digital.

I'm new to this doctors due to a merge and as soon as the receptionist asked if I knew where to go she got a little aggressive with me just because I said I wasn't sure where it is. Would appreciate if they could be more friendly as specially as I have autism but other than that I'm happy that I was able to get an appointment within the week I called as the previous doctors I was at took a month
