FAQ

What is the church's stance on baptism and how is it performed?

At Fleet Baptist Church, we believe in baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. We offer baptism classes and opportunities for baptism throughout the year.

What type of worship services and activities are offered for different age groups?

We offer a variety of worship services and activities tailored to different age groups, including Sunday school classes, youth groups, and adult Bible studies. We also have a nursery and children's church for younger children during Sunday services.

How often does your church offer communion and what is the process?

We offer communion on the first Sunday of every month during our morning worship service. The process involves receiving a piece of bread and a small cup of juice to represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

What are your beliefs on baptism, the Holy Spirit, and speaking in tongues?

As a Baptist church, we believe in baptism by immersion and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in believers. While we acknowledge the spiritual gifts mentioned in the Bible, we do not emphasize or require speaking in tongues as evidence of salvation or the Holy Spirit's presence.

Was invited along here on Sunday. A wonderful, welcoming and progressive bunch of people that just want to let you in to their world without pressure or intrusion. Felt absolutely at ease and thoroughly interactive without any of that new boy feels. Genuinely welcomed, fed, introduced without being overwhelmed . Recommended and will certainly be re-visiting some genuinely nice humans 😊
