Jess was incredible from first contact. I had unfortunately been let down by a previous makeup artist, and after contacting Jess she came back to me promptly and stepped in for my big day. She fitted me in for a trial within a few days and was so easy to get on with and speak to that it made the last minute change smooth and easy. The makeup she did for my bridesmaids, Mum and I was beautiful, natural but with a glow and lasted all day. Everyone complimented how stunning the bridesmaids looked, and she made sure they were happy and comfortable with the makeup she was doing for them (especially helpful as some had never used fake eyelashes and Mum doesn’t wear makeup on a daily basis!). I had been searching for ages to find a MUA for my wedding. I didn’t have the funds/times to trial lots of people and Jess came highly recommended. I was going out for a day in London so thought I’d book makeup in to see how goes and if it lasts on my face, as I have very dry skin. Jess was very informative and made me feel at ease the whole time. She guided me on colours and gave great tips on what products were best for me. She even had an eye liner for the water line that did not run/smudge the entire day. I decided to go full glam for my day out and whilst at first I was apprehensive I loved the look and didn’t want to take it off at the end of the night. I got so many compliments on the make up and was so pleased with how it turned out and lasted so I decided to book Jess for my wedding in July. My husband and I got married on 2 March 2023. After several reviews for Jess on a facebook post, I approached Jess for a hair and make up trial and potentially booking her for our wedding preparation. Prior to the trial, Jess was happy to chat over my various concerns, recommending ways for me to get my vision. During the trial, Jess was calm, relaxed and completely saw the vision in my head. She made me feel comfortable, bearing in mind that I do not usually wear make up. We had a good laugh throughout and she definitely made me at ease. On the day, we had 6 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, my Mum and my Mother in Law to prepare - and only had until 1pm to do it. Jess organised a team of make up artists and hair dressers to ensure the day ran smoothly. Jess did my hair and make up perfectly. It lasted all day and I, and my husband, were so happy with how it turned out. Thank you so much Jess. You are wonderful and we would highly recommend you over and over again!!
