Nice country pub. We visited for an evening meal on a Sunday, a quiet day but still a nice friendly pub with a good choice of pub favourite meals. Good hearty meals which were tasty and more than we could eat. You won't go hungry! Nice pub with a good range of beers. 😎 👍 👍 👍

We went in for lunch. They were dog-friendly which helped. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were more than ample too. Would recommend this pub as a pit stop for food and drinks.

Staying close by, we had a walk down early on a Friday afternoon to get some food. It wasn't busy, but there were plenty of people popping in and booking for the evening. We have a toddler, and she had a walk around the bar area. Went back for the next 2 evenings for a drink so little one could have a walk around the beer garden. There is plenty of seating front and back. Food was very nice. Portion size decent.
