I cannot pause this business enough. John has carried out a couple of jobs for me: servicing a Thorens deck, a Rogers amp and is currently fitting new belts to a Sony tape deck. Email or call him as the shop is appointment only, he will give you an honest appraisal of the situation and potential costs involved then arrange a time to visit. He is exceptionally knowledgeable in his field and very reasonably priced. Main dealers do not do what John does! As well as repairs YouCan also purchase Hi fi from him but I haven't experienced that side of his business. When my turntable needed looking at, I did some research and found that there was a place in Lancaster and John that worked on them.
