Disappointing and worse than a Travel Lodge Given the location of this hotel and the impression given by the website, I was expecting a whole lot more than this. The lobby and front entrance give the impression you are stepping into a luxury hotel from from days gone by, but it seems like the quality that it once gave is relegated to the past. The room is okay. Nothing special, and somewhat sparsely furnished. The tea/coffee making facilities are in a strange cabinet on the wall, the desk / dressing table was pretty much useless as an actual desk as it is completely the wrong height to work at with your laptop. The chair was also rather uncomfortable. The bed was also very uncomfortable, with a strange split mattress on a double bed that wasn't flat at all and way too hard. I like a firm bed but this was just too much. The walls are rather thin as well so I could hear quite a lot from the room next door. The bathroom is tiny. Literally the minimum amount of space possible. Moving on to the breakfast which was the most disappointing part of all. Firstly on entering the dinning room, the person meant to be greeting me was looking at his phone. Once directed to my table, I was asked if I wanted Tea or Coffee. I requested a decaf coffee with some oat milk if they had it and he did not seem to understand what I had asked for. After several time of trying different ways to explain I wanted a decaf coffee, he said he would ask his colleague to assist me. They did not come out until I had finished my breakfast and at that point they asked me what I wanted and once requesting the coffee, I was presented with the instant sachets that are put in the room, which are impossible to open without spilling the coffee everywhere and a carton of oat milk from the fridge. The food selection available was also completely disappointing for myself as a vegetarian. The only hot food I could have were the hash browns, which were okay, the scrambled egg that looked terribly undercooked, and the beans that were not great either. I had a croissant and a pastry that was okay, probably because it didn't require any personal preparation. Given the price of the hotel I would expect so much more. No one asked me if I had any food allergies or special dietary requirements and given that the simple request of a decaf coffee was not understood, I think that no one would have got anything right. The next night I stayed in a Travel Lodge and the whole experience was so much better. The staff were friendlier, the food was better, with a much bigger selection. Bed was more comfortable, room was bigger, the desk was usable everything was just better. Don't stay here unless you have no choice or have very low expectations.

We were unsure where to stay in London for an event we were attending. Location was great and nearby to the station and not so far from Oxford street. Area was surprisingly quiet. Room was very clean and spacious. Air con worked and there was a bath tub which was amazing! Would stay here again if staying in London.

This hotel has no Customer Relationship Management. They won't remember your name. I came here early 20 times since 2020. I made a very good evaluation during these days and covid time. Since then they don't even have my name in their book. Today I am in the lower floor, room 16, directly above the tube line and cannot sleep. The tube is passing by every minutes all night. Before and during the work time the 2 previous years I had room on the 4th and 3rd floors. No more. They even refused me once because I only came 1 night. So the localisation is very convenient for my work but don't expect anything from the team and commercials. The quality and the service is not worth the price.

こじんまりとしたホテルでしたが、不便と感じることはなかったし、ホスピタリティも感じて良い時間を過ごせました。朝食は期待以上に美味しかったです。 (Translated by Google) It was a small hotel, but I didn't feel inconvenient, and I had a good time feeling the hospitality. Breakfast was better than expected.
