Joe, the guy who fitted our bookshelf, was amazing. Worked hard, communicated well and nothing was too much trouble for him. The lady who helped with the initial design process was also helpful and easy to work with. However, we opted for the 'paintable' options, so that we were not limited to the choice of colours on Fittingly's website. Unfortunately it turns out it's not paintable - we've tried four different types of paint, all of which flake off with a gentle touch. I've asked Fittingly three times - twice via email, once online chat - what paints Fittingly recommend, and still they cannot answer. The best they can do is forward a PDF from their producer, which is unhelpful and doesn't resolve my issue or answer my seemingly straightforward question. So the paintable materials are, in fact, not paintable. I'm now in the process of trying to remove all the sticky factory labels which our entire bookshelf is covered in; they have been a nightmare to get off. Having tried numerous products, we have ended up using a scraper and white spirit to remove the sticky residue.. I'm pretty shocked by how much work I'm having to do, and the stress it's causing, when I chose this option as it seemed hassle free. I presumed I'd be able to crack on with painting, rather than spending days preparing it. Overall, I regret not just using my local carpenter.

Excellent custom wardrobe that fits perfectly around the fireplace. The design process was really straightforward with Hinal being a great help getting the most out of the available space (particularly the very high ceiling). The actual fitting process was also superb with Tim and his lads doing a great job and managing to get it all done in only a few hours. The overall quality is brilliant with everything perfectly aligned, all the trim being cut exactly to size to close up the gaps to the ceiling and walls, and all the doors being soft-close etc. It has completely transformed the room and will free up so much more space by allowing everything to fit in this one area, rather than being spread across multiple chest of drawers.

Had a fitted walk in wardrobe. Design process was quick and all done online. Designer was methodical and great. Installation was organised efficiently. The install itself was superb. Had some panels that needed reordering, and Fittingly sorted it within a day with delivery next morning. Exceptional experience and product. Fully recommend.

The idea is good but the execution of the wardrobes is poor. Panels arrive loose, ie this is not a flat pack, items are dirty/dusty, splinters are sticking out. If you chose to assemble yourself it requires quite a lot of wood cutting/trimming which was not entirely clear from the conversations I had. If you are very DIY proficient and are OK to handle rough materials it may be for you but otherwise I would stay away (at least from the self assembly option).

I recently designed wardrobes, cupboards and a desks with the Fittingly design tool. The whole experience from design, consultation, delivery and pre/post telecom and email service was excellent. The product/build quality is first class and has made a dull room, into a room with a class finish. I was so impressed with Fittingly, I have ordered a second room design which I am looking forward to the delivery in the new year. Overall ……a first class experience dealing with this company and a quality product.

Nothing but hassle, and not wearing well in use it's easily damaged. We bought a fitted wardrobe from fittingly for our loft room. In short it would have been cheaper and better quality to get a local carpenter in. We have had nothing but issues throughout and now the wardrobe is ok and in use daily we have noticed the paint chips and scratches really easily so the product won't last for years as you would expect for the amount they charge Our issues - The first delivery was damaged straight off the truck and had to be repainted 90% of the paint work was damaged or scuffed on arrival. - the 2nd delivery turned out the doors and drawers fronts were too small. Along with a number.of other misscut panels preventing assembly - the 3rd delivery was ok but still had some dents and scratches before arrival. We gave up at this point and just decided to patch the damage ourselves where visible - if you have a slanting ceiling the fitting is anything but easy and requires far more effort than the advertised flat pack - communication about the issues was poor we were regularly chasing for updates on the products However I do have to give them one star as they did at least attempt.to fix there issues but we feel that the product just isn't well made and the paint quality is poor and will not last.
