Went to the mechanic with a very good idea of what my problem was. He advised me to let him try something else first. When that didn't fix it, he admitted that the problem was what I had originally diagnosed. I asked him to fix the original problem and so he did. In the process of doing so, broke another part, didn't tell me, shoved it back into place and sent me on my way. I found out as soon as I went above 30mph! Went back to him, after admitting that he broke something and shoved it back into place, he advised me to go away and "see if it settled". It hasn't. Now he wants to charge me another £100+ to repair what he broke and lied about! In total this job should have been a max of £600 involving a days work. In reality it is now costing me £1000 over 3 weeks because of shoddy work. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY!
