Michelle is absolutely fabulous: I had got very unfit and found even walking was causing me pain. I knew I needed to get back into exercising regularly but didn't know where to start without exacerbating injuries. I started PT with Michelle and after thorough health checks and movement range checks, Michelle devised an initial 4 week programme for cardio, strength and core fitness focussing on my weakest areas to prevent poor posture causing further pain. Despite lockdown requiring us to train outside in a public space throughout winter - we had a great time and my strength has returned. Michelle was able to support me and increase the demand week on week. She offers advice on healthy eating in conjunction with exercising safely and the sessions are fun. I have more energy, I feel fitter and my pain has gone! After 12 weekly sessions, I felt confident enough to continue PT sessions fortnightly and have the motivation to exercise at home between sessions knowing Michelle is at the end of an email if I need help. Michelle is knowledgeable, approachable and always focuses on exercising safety and working with what the client is hoping to achieve. I cannot recommend her enough.

I really can’t recommend Michelle enough - I have been going to her Fitsteps classes for just over 2 years now and I will do anything not to miss one...they’re such fun, and I feel so much looser, fitter and happier as a result (and always come away smiling!) Michelle is such a great instructor, so helpful, thorough, patient, easy going - and she really knows her stuff (dance and anatomy/physiology wise) so I know I’m in safe hands, and that’s really important to me as I get into my mid fifties. Thank you for introducing me to the power of dance Michelle, I just love it and I’m afraid you won’t be able to get rid of me for a long while now!! EDIT to REVIEW Michelle is now also a PT and having just complex 9 weeks of 1:1 training with her, I have nothing but good things to say about her PT training techniques and approach too! The program has been so personalised to my needs, and I feel fitter, stronger, more functionally efficient. I’ve lost both weight and inches, my running is easier as a result and I’ve really enjoyed the sessions (she makes them fun as well as pushing me to my sensible limits, and she changes things up all the time so no chance of getting bored so my motivation has stayed strong) Thank you Michelle, you are really good at what you do and what I lacked in technique and focus, you have turned all that around so I am delighted - and wearing summer shorts is no longer a stressful event now that all that PT has toned me up! Result 😀

Michelle's Fitsteps classes are just brilliant. She makes learning the different latin and ballroom dance routines fun and easy and has really helped me refine my dance technique and improve my stamina. I always used to look forward to her classes at the gym and now I love getting the link to her online classes every week. She has worked hard to produce great routines covering latin and ballroom dance styles that are easy to follow and broken down in detail for anyone who is new to the sessions. Michelle also gives lower impact options where appropriate and lots of encouragement throughout each dance so that the sessions are suitable for all levels of fitness. I like to push myself and always feel that I have had a really good work out. With the online videos, I can even fast forward through the explanations to keep the intensity going and repeat my favourite ones over and over again!

I started going to Michelle's classes last year and I'm addicted! I've been to most of the venues now. She makes the classes such fun you smile the whole way through. Recently Michelle has made the classes available online for us, and somehow she still manages to make you feel as if you're in the same room! I love learning new dance steps and it works your whole body (although calves are usually the most tired). Particularly recommended if you love dancing and want to try a ballroom / Latin class but your partner doesn't! (I speak from personal experience 😉)
