Brain damaged war vet motorcycle instructor guy
Treated myself with a lil ol ride along the seafront and caught the scent of fish and chips and had to try them, maybe the biggest mistake I have made in a while. The fish was obviously overcooked, whether this was purposeful or because it had been sat waiting patiently under the hot plate for an extended period I had no idea until I bit into it. The gushing oil bath that invaded my mouth and throat made believe it was not overcooked but drowned in old engine oil which gave it its darkened colour. The chips looked wonderful, again they had that darkened look of being well cooked but in fact they turned out to be rather soggy with zero crisp to them. An extremely small portion was served in exchange for a large amount of coinage. All in all not a very happy dining experience. On the plus side I only have to cross the road for a tasty ice cream from Vanilla to take the awful oily taste away.

Went for a burger and chips, the burger was bone dry from sitting on the shelf for some time clearly, asked for a fresh burger and the lady behind the counter said no. Still there’s better places with freshly made food just a minutes walk away

The two ladies serving were a delight, happy and friendly. Simple order of Fishcake and Chips. Generous portion of perfect chips, golden and piping hot. The standard fishcake was again, piping hot and very tasty.
