Grabbed a takeaway for a family email for 7, the fish was ok, batter slightly overcooked but good portion. Fish cakes and battered sausage were ok, hard to get wrong but a budget version. One of the party wanted a pie and was amazed they didn’t do them so Opted for scampi instead and this was dreadful. Horrible taste and whatever was inside was more the consistency of a fish cake and definitely not scampi! We bought curry sauce but this was really thin and very salty so we threw it away. We had two bags of chips and one was on old batch that were overcooked and the other an anaemic batch that was undercooked, neither very nice. All in all a very disappointing supper and not venue I would revisit or recommend after all if a chippy doesn’t do good chips Then what’s the point

Got a Too Good to Go order and the food was lovely. 1 battered sausage, 3 large sausages and a big bag of chips. All still very hot and fresh. Will definitely be coming back.

No regrets - freshly cooked and tasty. We even tried their homemade family recipe mint mayo dip that was recommended by the very nice guy who was cooking the food- will def go again!

I went in for large chips.The price had gone up a pound from earlier this year,not great portion size and quality was down.No one in the shop and no atmosphere from staff.Felt like it has gone downhill.Won't be coming back soon.Two stars at a push!PSThey DID sell large chips for £4 before because I bought them several times before.So reply is untrue.

The meal was cold burnt to acrisp so much so there was no fish in the batter portion size was tiny for the amount spent management un interested after contacting them and sounded like someone left on their own with a to do list don't give this business much of a future
