The scout hut is hidden away from kings road and although not brand new it is large, functional and getting improved with use. It opens onto a large grassed area, so Loads of space for indoor and outdoor fun. The scouts enjoy diverse activities each week with enthusiastic Scout Leaders. You can expect to build stuff, make stuff, cook stuff, camp fire cooking, bonfires, camping out, indoor winter camping, hiking, caving, swimming, sometimes just relaxing. There is a cub section and newly formed beavers section for younger children. The register of places is filling up so get your name down for a place especially if you are a willing parent helper... and remember scouting at all ages is for boys and girls alike.
