Fantastic company to work for, 10 times better than anyone local. Great interview, uniform right away and my manager is always there to help and support me. Shift are on the app and control lads are sound if you need them. Always paid on time which my last lot didn't.

One evening in December last year my car skidded on the ice into the bushes at the side of the road just outside Waddesdon at approx. 7.30pm. I was unable to reverse the car out of the bushes and I was stranded in an unlit remote road alone about 5 miles outside of Waddesdon. I am an elderly lady in my 70's and it was extremely frightening being there on my own and I considered myself to be in a vulnerable situation. Of course, I rang the breakdown service (AA) and was told that it would be a minimum of 2 hours for them to respond and could be as long as 6 hours. I then also informed the police as I felt I was situated in a dangerous position and I was a vulnerable woman on my own. The police also said they would respond but could not say how long it would be. I considered myself very lucky when Carl Wittock, first responder with FRG, drove down the road on his nightly patrols about 45 minutes after the accident and stopped when he saw my situation. He checked that I was ok and not injured and just at that moment the police patrol car turned up but they said they couldn't stay with me as there were numerous call outs pending. So they then asked Carl if he was able to wait with me until the AA turned up. I was in touch with the AA on text and they said they hoped to be with me within the hour so he agreed to stay with me and contacted his control room to advise them. This was a difficult situation for Carl as he was working and had a job to do. I'm very pleased that FRG supported his decision to help me. Well done to Carl and to FRG for being a "people caring" company.
