I recently purchased a log burner from the Fireplace Super Store in Cheadle and had a terrible experience with their installation service. Despite being told that one of their fitters would come to install the log burner, it turned out to be a third-party company. The installation cost me £1750, and during the sale, I informed the salesman at the store that I was concerned as we had a new carpet being fitted prior to the installation. He assured me that there would be no damage or mess. Unfortunately, the fitters left large stains on my new cream carpet and did not even attempt to clean the wet ash all over the floor in the hallway. They also just left their rubbish at the side of the house. When I complained to the store, they showed no interest in resolving the issue and took no responsibility for the poor service I received. As a customer who had spent almost 5k with the company, I expected a lot more. I asked if they could at least arrange for the carpet to be cleaned, but they did not want to know. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with their lack of accountability and poor customer service.

My new fireplace & media wall supplied & fitted.. WOW, AMAZING, has transformed my room, Neil ( shop) & Andrea (fitter) were brilliant from start to finish. Andrea even fitted the TV and linked all the sky, google etc. 100% recommend these guys.

We had a fire and fireplace fitted in September 2020, and have had nothing but problems for the last 3 years from igniting I it to coals, dropping down and falling onto the hearth but despite complaining and fitters being sent to do what I had to do, which was refit the coals, nothing was fixed . We ended up paying an independent gas fitter to fix the ignition. IT'S 2023 AND WE ARE STILL HAVING TO REFIT THE COALS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ITS NOW TIME FOR A NEW FIRE!!!!!!!. YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE LASTED MORE THAN 3 YEARS Sorry it's taken so long to write this review but I feel so much better now. Rubbish fire free to a good home.

Just been in your store as I needed advice on 2 log burners fitting in my home . Spoke to a gent that had no interest in my needs and was only interested in telling me negatives and no positives . It was just like a seen out off the movie pretty woman . Well your loss I’ll go elsewhere if my money not good enough 👍

I had a fireplace fitted on 11th November 2022. I specifically asked before the purchase do they take the rubbish away, I was told yes, when I called the salesperson may as well have called me a liar. He said to read the order sheet, he pointed out that they do not collect rubbish and this was read out to me, it wasn't and my signature was not below this. I am a woman on her own that is why I needed the rubbish taken away. The after care is awful and he was so sarcastic to me. I would never advise anyone to go and purchase from here.
