    Highly recommended. A friendly, professional and well-organised family business who charge fair prices for a quality service. John, Amanda and team spent time with us explaining options and assessing what was needed for our installation. I had lots of questions and John took time to meet, show me what work needed doing and why, and helped me understand how the project would be completed. He and the installation team (including their friendly, efficient scaffolders and gas engineer), were polite and considerate at all times, treating our house like their own. Amanda dealt with the logistics and paperwork, again being super-helpful and flexible along the way. End result? A lovely Dean Stoves wood burner installed which has hugely improved our home. Delighted. Photos to follow once we’ve decorated!

    I don’t often do reviews, but I’m making a exception because Fireplace Magic are an exceptional outfit. John did a site visit before quoting on the work, gave straight answers to all our questions, and offered relevant advice. Amanda likewise was patient, helpful and generous with her time. We bought a wood burner which turned out to be absolutely perfect for our fireplace and our needs. John & Scott arrived to break open the fireplace and install the stove, on time; they worked efficiently and considerately, and cleaned up after themselves. The subsequent visit to commission and certify the stove (fire it up and check everything works as it should) was an opportunity for further advice and information. Amanda, John and Scott are proper professionals in their field; experienced and conscientious. It was a real pleasure doing business with them.

    It was a delight to deal with Fireplace Magic. John, Scott and Amanda were always responsive to any queries and took time to listen and work out what we hoped to achieve. And they did! They removed an existing electric fire and fireplace surround and enlarged the opening to accommodate the wood burning stove we had chosen. Having left behind two stoves in our old house we are now feeling really at home with our new wood burner. Many thanks to them all for their patience and good humour, and their knowledgeable, efficient and professional service.
