Very good beer but poor experience with the staff. Saw a family scolded for their unruly children in a case of mistaken identity. Was then made to chug a beer 10 minutes after last orders because the member of staff wanted to leave. Won't be going back, which is unfortunate.

Nice, cosy bar. Live music and burger van when we went. Good beer as well as good selection of gin. Excellent cider as well. Piper crisps, big selection. Looks to be family and dog friendly

I only popped in for takeaway cask beer so cannot comment on the enlarged tap room area. A broad range available supplemented by other Firebird beers in cans and bottles. At 3.8% abv Two Horses is a top pale ale so I took this and Mandarina for brownie points when I got home. Both beers reasonably priced. I would like to see an end to the single use plastic bottles although tbh they could be washed and taken back for refilling next time.

Really enjoyed the barnyard chicken at the Firebird last night. I hope you never lose the authentic feel of the place. The food was hot and well priced and the drinks came promptly. Some lights in the car park would be great if possible. Looking forward to coming again.

Brilliant evening out as a smallish group of 7. The inside is so well decorated, warm and inviting, with live music, very reasonably priced drinks and freshly made pizzas that were delicious! We lived locally so it was a walk up the Downs link by torchlight and back again later, but there's plenty of parking for those who want to drive. The staff were lovely, welcoming, friendly and everything contributed to a great atmosphere! Fantastic night out!
