Really Enjoyed Our Meal Here, Hats Off To The Chef 👨🍳 The Korean Style Cauliflower Starter Was Absolutely Delicious. Lamb Shank Main Was Full Of Flavour & My Partners Steak Was Cooked To Perfection. Generous Portions Therefore No Room For Dessert 😋 Staff Very Friendly & Chatty With Us. The Decor Was Also Lovely. Would Return Without Hesitation & Highly Recommend To Others.

Steak and burger pretty good, a little on the expensive side, service a shambles, they had no idea about our booking, they thought we were there for afternoon tea, had to open the kitchen for us even though we’d booked for lunch, why let us book if you’re not ready to serve lunch at 12:30pm on a Friday…. Booking was painful in the first place the month before. Just a shambles of miscommunication and ability. We won’t return I’m afraid, this place is meant to be a top steak house in Leeds according to TA and Google, the staff are not ready for that accolade. When we asked for the bill we were presented with a card reader with an amount on the screen, with no explanation of what that total was for, the waitress mumbled something and I just paid as we needed to leave, it turned out when we got bill afterwards the service was included in that amount, shameful thing to mislead from a member of staff! The one waitress who delivered condiments and served our dessert was the only person who knew what they were doing on front of house…. Well done that lady.

We have been here a few times for afternoon tea with Groupon or living social deal....this time it was a farce from start to finish . Who ever took our booking by phone got it wrong and when we arrived at 12.45 for 1pm we were told it was booked for 3.30....we sat and had a drink, the restaurant was completely empty so no atmosphere at all. The afternoon tea arrived at 1.50 with an apology from the chef....he told us we could have anything else on the house....just a pity the waitress never reappeared as we would have had another hot drink . We had to rush out as we had to get back to do tge school run. The food wasn't the best at all. Totally unacceptable! I have sent 2 emails stating our disappointment , you have had plenty of time to reply ....but had no response at all. Needless to say we won't be returning here. Thankyou for spoiling our special day out.
