Another precast concrete skatepark. It's quite minimal but I actually found it quite fun as there's still enough stuff to mess about on but I got bored after 15 mins. You have the basic back and forth set up, 4 foot quarter one end, mellow flat bank at the other end with a funboxe on the middle. The quarter is nice but only about 5 foot wide so only for stalls, no grinds here. The flat bank is decent, even having a small transition at the base which you don't usually see in this type of budget park. It's about 4 or 5 foot high but long so hard to get decent speed off of it, which you need for the funbox. The funbox really let's the park down the ledge is square angle iron, installed onto the concrete AFTER it was poured, using screws. Shockingly poor workmanship and unprofessional. Some screws stick out making it unusable at minimum, dangerous at worst. The funbox is steep, which wouldn't be a problem if the flat bank was similar and they didn't put any smooth transition at the base of the funbox like they did on the flat bank so due to those points, it's awkward to use and beginners are going to eat the ground going into or coming out of that. There's a nice little practice rail and a Manny box with square ledge both sides, these would be sessions by beginners or skilled rollers. This place is fine for locals but nothing here worth traveling to. Get yourself to Epworth or Rotherham.
