Arrived the airport pretty early. There's only 20 people in the queue, but it took more than an hour to finish the check in.. ridiculously slow staff. Staff are also very unhelpful when I ask to sit in the aile seat and he just simply said you should have reserved your seat online. But the problem was I was preassigned a seat and I couldn't change to any other seat! What's the system for? .. paying premium for a budget airline experience, never Finnair again for me.

We need back the Finnair glory days, when the drinks were free,meals offered and in general everything done in a different style to todays "Ryanairesq" way.... Prices of a 5* airline, but no substance behind them...........

Old dirty short haul plane from Helsinki to Manchester reminded me of an old American prison bus from the movies. Nothing wrong with the other 3 flights to get us from Manchester to Bangkok and back but the last flight spoilt the Finnair experience. Sorry but never again.
