Steve couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. I had been trying to replace a topaz, emerald cut, ring that I had stolen and he did his utmost to make sure I was 100% happy with the result. He didn’t put any pressure on me at all, and even ordered the stone and the shank to show me on a “no sale and happy to return” basis before he made the ring. I am extremely happy with the ring and his work, and couldn’t recommend finery & co highly enough. Thank you so much! I am so happy with my ring!

I found Finery & Co when searching online for a local jewellery repairer. I’m so pleased I did! Steve was great, he repaired a ring I had bought from an online shopping website which was damaged on arrival. The first thing Steve did was check the ring for me to make sure it was actually gold! The ring is now repaired and resized and I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend, the service is great and the quality of repair is excellent!

Buyer beware. We purchased an engagement ring at around the £500 price mark in summer 2021. The proposal was May 2022. Between May 2022 and November 2022 the claws around the central sapphire had been replaced 3 times, another had cracked and the shank had bent out of shape and had to be thickened. I'm not a bricklayer by trade so this amount of wear and tear is not expected. These repairs were undertaken by another jeweller as unfortunately we had moved out of the area and it wasn't feasible for us to return to Finery. This jeweller also told us that where Finery has re-sized the ring originally, the hallmark had been heavily worn away and was indecipherable. We were told the ring was in such a state it looked antique. We finally in Feb 23 went to see a new jeweller who is a member of The Insitute of Professional Goldsmiths. He told us he could firm up the ring with repairs or melt it down and start again but in its current state it would not last 'a lifetime'. The £500 ring has cost us nearly £1000 in repairs and is now refashioned into a pendant while I have an entirely new ring. If you're young/don't have a huge figure to play with, as many of us don't right now, really consider your options before buying here.
