I have just completed an eight week 1 to 1 mindfulness course with Heather. I have nothing but praise for her and cannot over emphasise the positive effect that it has has on me . Mindfulness is a way of life and takes practise and dedication and Heather's gentle, patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable approach really gives you the mechanisms that you need every day to help you to integrate mindfulness into every part of your life . The fact that it's also combined with cognitive therapy helps you to understand your thought processes and what is driving them. I found the meditations that Heather incorporates into weekly sessions really relaxing and again they helped me to gain a deeper insight into how to adopt mindfulness into my daily life, and really useful to deal with stressful situations that life can throw at us all every day. I can't recommend Heather and Find Your Calm enough. Heather is a special person and really devoted to helping people . If you are interested in mindfulness out of curiosity or because as I was, you are struggling to deal with life, you won't find a better teacher to work with . I had previous experience of using mindfulness techniques some years ago when I suffered from work related stress and anxiety issues. Happily they worked well but I fell out of the habit of regular practice as my health improved and I prioritised other things. Having retired and having more time to spare I wanted to revisit mindfulness and contacted Heather at Find Your Calm and discussed a way forward that would suit what I wanted to achieve. Heather is very knowledgeable in her field and was thoroughly professional in the delivery of the training/practices as well as being a really nice person to work with. I was provided with slides and recordings of our meditations after each session so that I could revisit them during the next week. The whole experience was well structured and delivered in a highly effective way. For anyone who feels the need to seek help through mindfulness or any other therapy that Heather can offer I would highly recommend that you at least talk with her to see how she might be able to help.

I have been working on a 1-2-1 basis with Heather for 6 weeks now. I can’t recommend Heather enough. Heather is a very patient & passionate teacher and mindfulness is not what I expected at all……….I would recommend mindfulness and Heather to anyone that is in need of support, take it from someone who is in a very different place following their 1-2-1 sessions!!

Heather did a one to one mindfulness coaching session with me and it was awesome! During the session she taught me some useful techniques to use in stressful situations. I particularly liked the 5,4,3,2,1 technique. Not only does this calm me down but also makes me slow down, look around and appreciate the world around me. Part of it was a guided meditation session and I was unbelievably relaxed by the end of this, like almost asleep sort of relaxed! Amazing, would highly recommend her!
