This 500 year old building has had a a few uses during its time. It was once an Elizabeth I Tudor open-hearthed farmhouse. it was then converted into a coach house in 1790. It was finally turned into a chapel on September 27, 1830 by businessman John Cannings, who owned the iron foundry in Finchdean. There really is not much to see and being locked the only view is from the outside (See photos). Three stars for the history but...
