Very cool theatre space. While it’s a massive shame that the accompanying pub is currently closed (but is due to reopen), the theatre is very slickly run, and its intimate size means that you’ll have a good view wherever you sit (but no reserved seating, so get there early!).

This place proves you don’t have to spend £100+ to see a grade A+ show. 50 seats, ( there are no bad places to sit) professional production, wonderful works such as revived plays from the 19/20 century up to new writing bang up to date. what’s more its over a pub. Intervals walk downstairs for a pint at pub prices. One of my favourite venues.

Wonderful acting, great, cozy atmosphere, sound was amazing and food options are quite large considering it is a theater and not a restaurant.

Excellent theatre, they seem to attract great writers, directors and actors. If you go, currently the space below is unoccupied so bring your own drinks (there is a shop round the corner if you forget) and decant into a plastic cup before you go in. The box office is open at least 30 mins before but you can’t take you seat until 15 mins before the start. Seating can be tight if it’s a sell out and it’s unassigned so get in early if you want to sit together as a group
