Plain dark suit, budget £300, possibly inch or two alternation. Not too unreasonable right? A 15min lecture on why my quest was doomed to fail to the point I was actively trying to break conversion and escape. Negative to the point of awkward…and then kept going. Someone give her a puppy and remind her the sun will shine again. But I shaln’t be buying a suit here.
