This is not a review of the food - if only we could have got that far. Our group of 10 booked on the 12th of April. We arrived to find a set menu priced at £28.50 per head which was all that was available. There was no mention of this when booking, or on the website at all. We were also expected to sit on a table beside a PA system for a singer - another thing that wasn’t mentioned when booking - or anywhere else. Due to poor communication and defensive staff we left immediately, meaning the restaurant lost a £200+ cover. After a 25 minute wait for coffee on our last visit we probably won’t be returning.

Food was good, could have done with a little more beef on my plate. The beer was not served cold enough though! Staff very attentive and helpful.

Found this place by accident when we were looking to visit Kool and Dandy antiques centre (directly behind them). Very good breakfast, costs a little more than other places, but the flavours are all there, it's fresh and in my opinion worth it. We both had the full breakfast. Gets VERY busy, so you need to book rather than just rock up. There is a Farm shop attached which is delightful, they sell homemade everything, the bread you eat in your breakfast, the farm eggs, the sauces used at the table. I HIGHLY recommend trying their sourdough bread, at £5.50 a loaf it is a TREAT that is just SO WORTH IT! wish I had bought more than just the one loaf! They have a friendly Goose wandering around the perimetre, chickens, goats and donkeys. Lovely setting, lovely staff, lovely place to visit. Thank you.
