  I wholeheartedly endorse FieldFisher and, most especially, Lindsay Holt, who is simply brilliant at her job and a wonderful person too. She was unbelievably compassionate, understanding and sympathetic to me right from the start and never made me feel rushed or pressured. She attentively listened to my difficult story and was very patient, providing me with the time and space to express my emotions. She also had great insight into the various options available to me and, more importantly, made sure that I was clear about the process I would be taking if I chose to go ahead. Lindsay continued to be caring and supportive all the way through and even kept me in the loop during the pandemic, when progress had ground to a halt. Additionally, Fieldfisher made use of some exceptionally gifted experts, one of whom gave me much needed support in dealing with my condition. Claiming medical negligence is not an easy thing to do, and I struggled with it both mentally and emotionally. But, through it all, Fieldfisher and Lindsay were unfailingly compassionate and made use of their professional skills and expertise to help me out. Though it was an immensely tough experience, I'm thankful that Lindsay was with me throughout, making it as easy as she could. If you are considering making a claim, I urge you to consider it very carefully as it is a hard road. However, if you do decide to move forward, you won't be able to find better assistance than with Lindsay and her team.

  No-one enters lightly into a medical negligence claim. It can extend the period of damage and suffering even if the cause is clear and the purpose is to ensure that practices change and others are protected. So the solicitor who leads proceedings needs to be more than the expected excellent lawyer: she needs to be kind and sensitive , knowing when to push for more and when to allow a breather. She needs high-level people skills as well as incisive legal nous. Lindsay Holt at Fieldfisher must equal the best in the business.
