Adaptable, talented and so much fun! We booked Fiddlin' About to provide walkabout acoustic entertainment pre-dinner, and to lift the mood and light up the dance floor post dinner, and they did just that. This was a corporate event, with a broad age range and approximately 80 people - and even when travel meant attendees ran late and the venue imposed volume restrictions, the band literally thought on their toes and gave us options so that none of the attendees had an inkling that there were back of house issues. We booked Fiddlin' About as our wedding band in October: there are literally no words to describe how incredible they were! Honestly, they totally made the atmosphere what it was and everybody LOVED the music. Ollie asked me prior to the day whether there were any songs in particular we'd like, so we mentioned there would be Irish family there. As soon as the tunes came on, we were all up on the dance floor, having such a brilliant time. We also booked them to play in the afternoon whilst guests were mingling- this also created a lovely, chilled & happy atmosphere. You really did make the afternoon/night what it was and we can't thank you enough for that. We booked Jimmy & Mitch from Fiddlin' About for our wedding and they were, without a doubt one of the biggest highlights for us and definitely for our guests. So much so that some of our guests said they will be planning events, just so they have an excuse to book them to perform! They are both hugely talented musicians and lovely people with a vast knowledge of different genres, they even managed to play songs on request which they hadn't played before, and absolutely killed it! If you're after a unique acoustic act that is sure to put a smile on everyones faces then look no further!

What can I say. Fiddlin About made our wedding evening party so special and the set they played for us was not only incredible, but they tailored our first dance to make it really special for us.... and they really got the party started. I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding so truely memorable...and 4 weeks on our wedding guests are still talking about "that band"! If you are you planning a wedding, they are the band to hire and you will not be disapointed!.

Unbelievably good band - Book them whilst you can!! Fiddlin' About played at our wedding in Tunbridge Wells and were absolutely fantastic. The band was fronted by Jimmy who had an incredible voice and renditions of all the songs played were amazing. The band were very accommodating with timing and logistics and had the entire venue on their feet dancing all evening. I cannot recommend this band anymore and I have never been to a wedding where the guests have been talking about the music for days after!

We had the boys for our wedding reception in March 2022. They were totally brilliant, played informal and upbeat tunes and were happy to take requests from our guests. They circulated within the marquee offering a really welcoming and upbeat vibe which was more relaxed than perhaps a string quartet. I would thoroughly recommend them. Rachael & David
