We had the 7 course tasting menu here. It was so unusual and absolutely delicious. We found both the textures and flavour combinations really different without being odd. We’d agree with other reviews that the food was generally too salty for our tastes but we enjoyed it still and particularly liked the use of pickled and smoked ingredients used wisely in the dishes. They catered well for my being gf and I didn’t feel like I was missing out on the experience. The cocktails we had were delicious also.

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of experiencing the 10 course tasting menu and wine pairing at Fhior. All staff went out of their way to make this a beautiful experience. This tasting menu was an absolute symphony of flavors, textures, temperatures and taste! The two amuse bouche gave great expectations of what was to come. The wait staff were all superb and the sommelier was kind and informative. All wine pairing were exquisite. The minimalist decor is lovely and the overall evening was a great value. Thank you Chef!

They were so very accommodating of my pescaterian dietary restrictions and that I'm expecting. The service was really wonderful. The food was... Almost good. If they used a tad less salt, threw in some acid in some of the courses, and varied some of the purees and sauces it could be amazing. I had at least 4 beige sauces on different courses. And a few courses had a similar green sauce. All creamy and salty, but it needs some variation in order to really nail the course pairing and get them to the next level. Also some fresh herbs that go with the protein that weren't overly ferny would have really made the meal pop. We so so want to love it, but it just missed the mark for us. Hope for great things for this place though!

It is a lot of money, but worth it. We spent 300 pounds for two 7 course menus and one person wine pairing, coffee and a starter drink. What you get for that is a lot. Locally sourced, inventive, interesting and just very tasty. That is very much true for the wine pairing. I'm quite spoiled in the wine departement and was delighted with the choices, especially at the beginning and the end. The middle choices were fine, but not fantastic. The glasses are small, you can still walk after ;) this pairing really adds to the experience, enough to be worth the almost doubling in price. Ambiance was very nice. Service was perfect: friendly, easy going, but still fast and professional. My last wish would be a vegetarian version of the menu, as the vegetarian courses were my absolute favourites. Last tip: take a tea at the end. Tea matches the friandises much better than the somewhat bleak filter coffee they offer. The friandises are not to be missed though!

We had a great evening at fhior! Wonderful food, definitly worth a Michelin Star soon! Service was great very attentive, the tasting menue for a 85£ was a great mix between new and old tastes, e.g. beetroot with eel, tasty combination. The time flew by but we never had to wait too long for the next course. I would definitely recommend to go here! Thanks for the nice evening!

Really enjoyed my second experience ar Fhior. The quality of the food and the imagination in the cooking was first class and service was excellent throughout. Personally I'm not a massive fan of paired wines, but we really enjoyed the choices we made ourselves. Looking forward to the next time already.
