I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and the check in machine wasn't recognising me, so I joined the line thinking it shouldn't be an issue considering I did try and I came early. When I finally asked to sign in, she said I was late, and I explained I was not - just the machine didn't recognise my appointment when I tried. I even said step by step what I clicked on the machine. She insisted I was late, and said I might not be seen now. Eventually she said sit down but "obviously because you're late you'll have to wait a while"... I wanted to correct her that "I was late signing in, not late to the place" but I kept my mouth shut... moments later she was shouting at everyone at the line to ensure they sign in at the machines, sarcastically saying there are two there, and if you're in line you're still late and won't be seen. A woman said it also didn't work for her and when the reception lady watched and did it herself it didn't work, claiming the woman obviously doesn't know her surname and that she is obviously already late. Using the word obviously too many times and now is patronising. The receptionists are very unkind. Well, turns out within 3 minutes I was seen to anyway and the doctor was kind and prompt - no issues with doctors, but it is not a welcoming place and they push you away so much making it virtually impossible to get an appointment most of the time.

BAD PRACTICE!!! Practice you can never get an appointment even when u called 8:00 sharp. You still arrive early to get booked in, u still meet unqualified doctors on shift cover that will mess the rest of the day for u… I have been here for my son struggling to sleep at night as he gasps for breath but was asked to come back in 2weeks, even with proofs of him, the unqualified shift cover doctor asked me to be giving him piriton, later chased me outside to prescribe one nasal spray, then I believed he must have called someone n got advised.. we v used countless bottles of that already for different case, I thought medicines have dosage that when not improved on one’s health, seeing a professional is required SMH… I returned back in 2 weeks very early in the morning just to be able to get appointment and was told they have IT issues, oh my goodness. My little boy was seriously struggling every night and me always awake at night to watch him for this 2weeks till now.. i am moving myself n kids data after this Easter break. I was impressed with their settings at first but they are so messed up in there..

The best Health Centre in London I have ever had. My doctor, Emma Humphries is sympathetic, helpful and very professional. She is always attentive to details and tries to help me as much as possible. I would like to say thank you Dr Emma, for understanding my difficult situation and your professional help. Also, all the staff at Ferryview Health Centre are very punctual, professional and fulfill all requests on time. I am very happy with the service of Ferryview Health Centre.

I applied to be registered with a different practice but for some got allocated to this one. Called them to see why that happened. Waited for over half an hour on the phone. The call was answered, they ask me for my name and date of birth and put the phone down. When I called back I was the 15th in the queue again! Honestly, horrible.

Was on the phone to this place at 8am and was already 30 in the queue. Strike number 1. The practitioner messed up and sent me a text saying I had a face to face appointment when it was actually a phone appointment… yeah thanks for that only found out when I walked all the way there. They then told me they don’t have any appointments for the next month? So what should I do?

I had a terrible experience with this practice. I was having severe swelling in my ankle, knee and thumb and i consulted my GP. She referred me for MRI (for which i got a date that was 26 days after, but was changed to 10 days after due to some cancellation and repeated request by me). Looking at the results, she told me she'll refer me for physiotherapy (minimum waiting time for which was 28 days). As a result of this extremely long waiting time and severe pain and swelling i was experiencing, I came back to my home country and did some blood tests and Xray, in which it was shown that i have GOUT (high level of uric acid) which is rare and severe in young aged people. I have had 2 gout attacks during these 10 days of waiting time in UK and this could have been easily avoided if my GP had assessed this problem and run some tests. I could have started some medications and not go through so much pain and complications. I really hope the medical system improves over time and the waiting periods are cut short because a small problem can lead to complications too.

I visited this gp due to severe belly ache and nausea, they did a few blood tests and booked an appointment to discuss the results. Instead of discussing the results, no one called. I stayed in the phone for 45 minutes to ask about the reason the appointment did not happen, just to hear the receptionist being rude. In difficult times they should be more understanding and kind.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Don’t bother calling this surgery at 8am for an appointment.. you will be in the queue for over 1 hour (like I am currently) and they will tell you that all the slots are already gone and you will need to call again the next day at 8am or come in to their walk-in appointments which is even worse!
