I worked for an agency and was sent to a Ferrari demolition job.All went well for a few weeks then management changed.One Tuesday morning i was sent to help the site manager(ferrari were a sub contractor) ferrari were responsible for flooding the toilets and i was sent to help wet vac them.I was asked to fetch a broom to sweep the water to speed the job along.Ferrari's supervisor asked me why i was on the next floor down from the loos,and heading towards where the brooms were stored."To fetch a broom" Mr Ferrari said"I didn't ask where you are going,i asked you why you are on this floor.The only other way to get from the top floor to the ground floor would mean me abseiling and i didn't have a rope.The supervisors boss then piped up that he had seen me chatting with the site manager and because we were so friendly how many other jobs had i done for him? I know, none of this makes much sense...Ferrari went through 7 labourers in one week because they were treated like children.The supervisor thought we were stupid and didn't know what we were doing.With 20 years construction site experience,including demolition,i knew when it was time to live.I am number 7.nice reply from the owner.
