We loved staying here. Both the caravan and the shepherd's hut are so well appointed with everything one might need and the summer house is the icing on the cake! Peaceful, well located and the easiest glamping we've ever done.

We had a wonderful stay at Fernwood with our two boys, Rachel was so kind and accommodating. The boys loved seeing deer in the morning and exploring Rachel's beautiful garden. There is lots to do locally with the kids and we had a warm and cozy night's sleep in the Shepard's hut. Thank you 💙

I visited Fernwood Glamping as a new Dad and needed some space to myself. It was a great balance of a bit out of the way where you have privacy while also being close enough to civilization. Rachel and Jonathan were very helpful in pointing out some fantastic routes and there were a few I could do right from the Shepherds hut. The Shepard's hut is cozy and has a small fridge for storing food. It was beautiful to sit out under the stars at night (with limited light pollution) with a fire pit and some marshmallows. It was also lovely to wake up every morning to see 2/3 deer rutting and playing in the field in front of the hut. Recommend if you are visiting the new forest in autumn or winter, wellies or walking shoes are a must. Highly recommeded.

We 🧡 Fernwood and the Gypsy Caravan! This year was our second visit and it was just as magical and enjoyed as our first stay. A beautifully tended, homely patch of land with two wonderfully warm, welcoming hosts. You really feel that being invited into the grounds of their beautiful home is a privilege and you are well-looked after. The caravan and summer house are well-equipped and have so much to offer (my daughter loves the games and puzzles) plus some little extra treats - from vegan marshmallows to the vase of home grown sweet peas. There are so many lovely little touches which make the caravan really special. 5 🌟’s and thoroughly recommended.
