Regrettably we reached the point where mum needed more care than we could give her at home; with what support was available in the community. Reluctantly we found Ferndale Mews Dementia Nursing Care Home, and how very lucky were we?. EVERYONE from the manager through to the maintenance person has the interests of the resident as their number one priority. The prompt care and attention mum received with genuine kindness and care was superb. Due to COVID we could not visit, each call we were reassured with what we were hearing. At the end of mums life we were able to be with mum and we witnessed everyone we encountered first rate care for mum, which had far, far exceeded our expectations; dignity, genuine care, respect, compassion are some of the words to describe mums care. We would have no hesitation in entrusting your most loved ones to the wonderful care of Ferndale Mews. We can never thank each and every one of your exceptional people enough for the care of our mum Margaret.
