My 2nd visit and very pleased from start to finish. Car maintenance is expensive but with the team at Fergies they provide me with a detailed and priced breakdown of all work required and you can select the items you want to go ahead with. I generally deal with Nigel and I'm kept aware of progress and any delays which might affect me. If you want to be treated as a customer and not just a drop in you'll find the experience here very friendly and accommodating. Complete cowboys. Take it in for one job and you’ll get an endless list of faults back that you’ll be quoted excessive prices for. I had a full health check, then two weeks’ later they found another £1,500 of apparently urgent faults that required doing. Every quote they sent contained errors of some sort, usually expensive ones. The first time, hundreds of pounds was added to the quote through an ‘error’ corrected only when queried. The second time, a £76 quote for a battery replacement (apparently another ‘error’) became £434 on the day (compared to £250 at Kwik Fit). Tried to charge £700 for a new wheel bearing that had been fine two weeks’ earlier. Charged more for an oil change service (£265) than Audi themselves quoted (£240). They don’t reply to emails, unless it’s in their interests. I have used them three times now, and it’s been the same upselling experience each time. I won’t use them again. Update: I was contacted by Shaun to fully explain the situation with the locking wheel nuts. Shaun kindly offered to repair the damaged wheels and fully valet the car. I thank Shaun for the excellent customer service and calling to explain the issues. Also the car looks incredibly clean. I had my car booked for a cambelt service. The garage was friendly and professional, however during the service I was contacted removal of locking wheel nuts, as the locking wheel nut wasn't present I had an additional cost of ~£550. After speaking with Audi it appears that I could have obtained a master key at a fraction of the cost. Also during the process of removing the locking wheel nuts 2 of the wheels now need to be refurbished due to the damaged caused. Service: Engine repair
