Very useful station just outside Tower Hill underground station (Tower of London). The information screens are clear and helpful thus you are able to take your train for your required destination on time. The platforms are always clean.

When I visited I entered threw Cooper's row entrance. I wanted to get a ticket the ticket office was closed at this entrance and to get to the ticket machine I had to be let threw and go round to the other barriers to get to the machine wich I didn't know what to do with it so I went back through and asked for help and the member of staff operated the machine for me wich was really good and I appreciated that alot.

They close the other station entrance later during the day(not sure of the exact time, maybe after 7-8PM), so go to the main entrance instead! I missed my train because of this, hence posting to help people! Google maps directs you to the other entrance sometimes, so double check you are going to the main one to avoid missing trains!

It's an OK place, nice place to see trains, though it's all boring due to having a very small and cramped concourse, with not very many facilities. I suggest that you can go to the other terminus nearby, Liverpool Street

The men’s toilet is currently out of order. Two men in my party were desperate to use the toilet facilities so I asked the c2c cleaner if they could open the disabled toilet. The cleaner was rude and dismissive and told me to go to customer services. I went to customer service and explained that there were two men that needed the toilet and one was elderly. The member of staff discussed it with his colleague and it was a very awkward experience as they clearly didn’t want to open the toilet. (the staff should be trained to understand that some people aren’t visibly disabled but may need to use the toilet more frequently due to ill health). I am sorry to say the customer service I received was very poor.

Needs more seating especially on platforms. Off peak times trains can be over 30mins apart to many destinations. Needs a lift at side entrance. People with walking problems have to walk a very awkward and long route to avoid stairs. Also more facilities at side entrance eg. Coffee shop that is open and toilets. Side entrance used just as much as main entrance. Needs modernising.

How the hell they could close the station at 20:30 and show the GOOD SERVICE at the website??. After all day on your feet has to go to Liverpool Street. Cannot be more disappointed! Someone clearly does NOT do the job!
