You can find a small area of parking off of the Causeway Road. Although the area itself isn't massive, it's a great place to start off walks.. very rural and outdoorsy. You can walk as far as you like from here. The lakes themselves are small, but surrounded by fields. Great for walking dogs, and most fields and areas can be off lead. A couple of fields have cows in at the moment, so leads needed for those. Postcode MK44 1JW gets you the closest but actually takes you past the turning for the Causeway parking, so do look out for the road sign or the postcode will literally take you to a bend in a road !!! Tracks are muddy, fields and walkways, so good footwear needed and not good for buggies. No toilets or food facilities here.

This is a lovely little reserve and I'm guessing would be a haven for song birds come the spring. There's quite a lot of water here, unfortunately there's not a lot of open water to do any spotting, which isn't only limiting for the human visitor but, surely for many wild fowl, and any waders.

Lovely scenic walk. Quiet. Saw a heron fishing. Small car park just off the causeway right in the middle between the two "lakes" cross over the road and walk for about 10 mins to get to the large lake. There is a small bench part way. Would be nice if there were more, maybe a picnic table?
