I contacted Felipe Tadd asking if it was possible for me to produce my first collection with them given my rather tight budget. A question that should have been fairly easy to answer, as manufactures usually know what their usual MOQ is and how much fabric costs pr. meter. However it took Felipe Tadd no less than 3,5 weeks just to answer my question and tell me it wasn't possible. 3,5 weeks I could have used with a different manufacturer and be half way through the sampling process. Now I will never reach my deadline for summer 2022. As if the slow reply wasn't enough I was also juggled between 4 different people, none of which wanted to answer me. The explanation I got for the slow reply was that over 90% of their employees are sick from covid. If that is really true then they have terrible working conditions for their employees, as they clearly dont take proper precautions. And apparently the only two people not sick was on a business trip. How convenient. I would never ever recommend Felipe Tadd to anyone.
