All these raving reviews, this was not our experience, our experience was gloomy There is a strong connection between the Federation Beth Din and Freshwater and as well as between the Beth Din and Freshwater's lawyer. Therefore they really should NOT be accepting cases involving Freshwater. First of all, Freshwater donates to Jewish organisations and to the rabbis, second their appointed lawyer brings the Federation a lot of business, so they owe him, so awarded him 40,000 in legal fees, where solicitors told us that the arbitrator was not allowed to award fees. Justice? Really? Did we get justice ? Did we get justice according to HALACHA? Did we get justice according to Jewish law? Did we get justice according to civil law, or any law? They also told us that it is very easy to appeal an Arbitration award / decision, which is pretty misleading, and a blatant lie. They also did not disclose that one of the Freshwater Brothers is a rabbi at the Federation Beth Din. Should they have accepted this case? The Golders Green Beth Din refused to accept it because of their connection with Freshwater. They did a decent thing. Why did the federation Beth Din not do the same ? They never informed us that there is an option of mediation rather than arbitration, which does not have such drastic and terminal results, as arbitration is 99% impossible to appeal, at least in UK. They also adamantly refused to give us copies of the recording of the hearings, with different excuses. Why did they have to fight so hard not to give us the recordings of the hearings, if it was all kosher ? Any court gives the recordings. Why would someone do that unless they knew, that something was very wrong. Anyway that leaves us with no other option, but to make a complaint to the Association of Arbitrators (The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators ), to make it public, and to forward it to other relevant organisations, to review, investigate, or express their opinion. We are wondering if the Beth Din thinks that justice had been served in this case, They very well know the answer to that question. We thought that we will get fair treatment in a religious establishment, we trusted them, because they are Jewish religious people, so we were sure that they will be honest and will act with integrity, they also guaranteed us that it is easy to appeal a Beth Din Decision "just like in the County Court". If they told us the truth, that it is it's basically impossible to appeal arbitration, at least in England, we would've run away, we would never have stayed for a hearing. We sent a letter of complaint to the Federation Beth Din, they just ignored it. People should be warned and informed about arbitrations in UK, this is a death trap. And nobody should have to go through what we've been through.

In Manchester the community is growing exponentially and is expanding in all 4 directions. Some Shuls tried applying for funding from the federation and turned it down based on numerous and onerous list of subdugations. Orh yeushalayim did it. But another shul called Ohel Torah didn't. Anyway after discussing it with many people in the ever expanding kehilla's needs, was wondering why is it so beurocratic. Obviously there's no such thing as a free lunch, but the charity could be used for an ever expanding community and need for more Shuls. Thank you.
