Absolutely shocking experience. We went at beginning of April and it was absolutely freezing. Don’t expect the stove to do anything, it’s ridiculously small and doesn’t throw out any heat at all. I was hopeful for a wonderful experience with my 2 girls but they woke up shivering and we only stayed the 1 night out of 4 nights booked. The stove kettle stank and hadn’t been cleaned, the hot tub didn’t even have water in when we arrived and the boat was padlocked with no paddles. All extras that we paid for and expected to be ready. I wasn’t going to complain as I generally don’t, however they rang afterwards and asked for details so I told them all about it. The company response from that point was nothing short of insulting and derogatory, taking zero accountability and offering the same £75 discount for my next stay that I’d already been offered by auto email after the stay ended. Shocking company, woeful experience and £500 down the drain.

Fantastic break with family and friends. Neil was immensely helpful. Rowing on the lake, relaxing in the hot tub, making fires and indulging at the Apple store cafe all a must. Highly recommend.

Totally blown away by a short stay with 2 sets of families in the glamping tents which are off the scale so well thought out. The landscape/setting is stunning and the team super helpful, thoughtful. The hot tub. outdoor shower, lake and being so near to the Apple cafe and village is tip top. Definately will be back - a perfect mini break

Beautiful lake but the owner is extremely rude and thinks he is better than everyone else. Got shouted at for being on bikes even tho was no signs and then shouted at us for being there even tho loads other people were and there a public foot path through it!

we’ve Just got back from a short little break here and it was an amazing little place. The Tents we stayed in where really quirky and spacious and had everything you needed inside. Outside was a hot tub and shower and separate games room. Inside you’ve got Toilet, log burning fire/stove, 6 beds, Big solid wood 6 seater table and setee, , little kitchenette with sink, loads of pans, cups, cutlery, bedding, cold store, candle lanterns! we went as 4 Adults and a dog as a cheeky getaway Thu- sat but you would easily get 6 people in it and kids would love it. Its sat right next to a lake (no steep banking) secluded in woodlands with a few other tents . it was well smart ! shops are literally 5 mins away in the village with plenty of walks and scenery! Thanks guys 👍🏼
