Absolutely loved the barn. Fixtures & fittings excellent. Down a long narrow road & then a shingled path to farm but wasn't an issue. The farm animals looked well cared for. The decked area & inner courtyard was beautiful & you can pick your own veg and herbs. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 4/5 … More

Great experience, two teenage kids taken away from Wi-Fi and electricity! Lovely location in the woods, with great walks and a lovely river. Bring plenty of torches, even in the day it can be dark in the tent. Service is great and staff are friendly. A gas camping stove would be a good idea as well if you want a quick cuppa in the morning.

Awesome place to relax and unwind. Very friendly farm, lots of entertainment for the kids including a hands on farm tour of all the animals. Safari tent was good; roomy and comfortable as well as quiet. The wood burning stove needed a bit of work to keep going (I think some of the wood was a bit wet) but once up and running kept everything warm and was good for cooking. Water on tap in the tent, so no lugging heavy barrels around. Pizza oven was lit on Saturday night, we only had time to get some premade pizzas instead of making our own but way tastier than a normal oven. Small honesty shop on site had a reasonable range of products (and very tasty sausages). A couple of small supermarkets in Fordingbridge served for anything else. Well located for day trips around, including to the beach in Bournemouth to make the most of the gorgeous weather. Overall a great experience and we'll almost certainly be back.

A brilliant place to get away from everything with the family. Highlights included meeting the animals on the farm (on Saturday mornings), using the wood-fired pizza oven (Saturday evening), letting the kids run free in the woods and toasting marshmallows in a fire, each evening. Definitely worth taking sleeping bags if it is cold and some board games for the evenings. We are so exhausted BUT had an amazing time...!
