Nice place but needs some work. My £6 starter/tapas had 5 prawns....nothing else, and no, they were not king prawns either. The lighting is very bright, and the place lacks ambiance. We waited over an hour for our mains. The pizza looks great, had good texture and base, but was lacking in overall flavour. Needed some herbs and seasoning I think. The chefs special cheesecake was nice but appeared to be shop bought. (Maybe its just me, but when it says chefs special I imagine it to be made by the chef. ) the portion was pretty small too. Decor is nice. Friendly service. They are clearly trying hard, but in my opinion they need to work on some of the details if they wish to broaden their customer base beyond young families.

First visit to this restaurant. We arrived at 1.30pm as booked but we didn’t get our main course until 3.30pm. Food was average at best - see pic. When questioned why the food took so long to arrive, we were told because it’s Mothers Day!! Really! Clear to me not enough staff and overbooked. I would expect that they would plan and have enough staff to cover. A two hour wait is just unacceptable.
